Ben is now the proud father of...
a BIRD! Specifically, a champagne colored baby cockatiel whom he named "Soleil", which means "sunny" in French.
We hear that they live anywhere from 20-25 years, so he will have this companion for quite some time.
She was born on Oct. 20, 2006, and until very recently, she was hand-fed. She is very sweet and enjoys cuddling under Ben's neck. (I wonder how much school Ben will accomplish in the next few weeks.)
