We Seem to Live at the Pool

Our family seems to live at the pool summer, fall, winter and spring. Everyone has fallen in love with water polo, diving, and swimming. Even the little ones have joined swim team with the hopes of being allowed to play water polo soon. It's a great game, but our children sure do eat a lot!

Jordan played water polo for four years, and started the family on a long water adventure. He also swam during high school and played club during the summer.

Rachel played water polo, swam and played summer and winter club from 7th through 12th grades. This year her team took the league championship, and placed 4th in the valley. They also took a first place trophy home from Rocklin (Sierra Shootout), Fresno (Tournament of Champions) and Hawaii (Maui Invitational). Rachel was team captain this year. She has plans to play water polo for California Baptist University. Last spring she won several swim medals and led her team to a league swim championship. She is constantly working to better her swim times. Including putting in extra practices at 5:30 in the morning. Her coaches voted her "most dedicated" this year.

Jessica and Ben both play the goalie position. In addition to that, Jessie dives, and Ben took his freshman breast stroke time to the League Championships last year.

Luke has been active in club water polo during the summer since 6th grade. He doesn't seem to be intimidated by playing with the high school kids. Luke will be a very strong player by the time he gets to high school.
